Section 48
Shareholder's Address
: (1) The address of the shareholder mentioned in the Shareholder's Register Book shall be deemed to be his actual address unless otherwise notified.
(2) If the address of the shareholder changes, the notice of the new address must be given in writing to the registered office of the company as soon as the change is made.
(3) After receiving the notice as per sub-section (2), the director or the company secretary shall mention the changed address in the shareholder's register book.
(4) After the notice is sent to the address provided by the shareholder, unless it is proven otherwise, the notice to be provided by the company to the shareholder in accordance with this Act shall be deemed to have been duly sent and received by the relevant shareholder.
